Need Support Now?

The Family Resource Center of Alvin is being developed in partnership with Pregnancy Help Center Brazosport, which has supported families in southern Brazoria County for 37 years. Over the years, it became evident to the team at PHC that our neighbors in the northern part of the county required easier access to essential support services in Alvin.

To address this need, a mobile unit was acquired to serve the Alvin area every Thursday, marking an important first step; however, the services from this mobile unit remain limited. The team at PHC began to envision a fully independent family resource center in Alvin.

In June 2026, interest conversations commenced with local pastors and community leaders, revealing that the Lord had been inspiring many in the city towards this much-needed ministry. On September 3rd, we organized a community meeting, during which we formed our development committee, proudly representing nine different congregations within Alvin and the surrounding area.

We are now launching our fundraising efforts with the ambitious goal of making the family resource center operational by February 2027. We eagerly anticipate building relationships with churches, businesses, and other nonprofits as we progress in our mission to enhance community support in Alvin for local families.
